Inviting mates

You can invite friends to join your trip so everyone can view it and help with the planning.

Inside a trip, tap Mates in the top bar. You’ll see everyone currently on the trip, or a friendly empty state if it’s just you so far.

Tap Invite (top right, owner only). The app generates a one-time link that expires in 24 hours - tap Share link to send it however you like (Messages, WhatsApp, email, etc.).

Once the recipient taps the link and opens it in Overland Navigator, they’ll be added to the trip automatically.

Each invite link can only be used once. If you need to invite more than one person, generate a fresh link for each.

Swipe left on a person in the Invited mates list and tap Delete (owners only). Up to 5 contributors can be on a trip at once.

If you’ve been invited to someone else’s trip and want to leave, open it and tap … → Leave trip.
