Search
Tap the search icon on the main map to open search. It covers tracks, campsites, places, and your own waypoints - plus coordinates if you know exactly where you’re headed.
Results are grouped into sections as you type:

| Location | Appears when you type valid coordinates - tap to jump straight there |
| Tracks | Matching tracks from the Overland Navigator database |
| Campsites | Matching campsite listings |
| Waypoints | Your own saved interest points |
| Places | Towns, landmarks, and address matches |
Tap any result to close search and zoom to it on the map.
Tap the sliders icon (top right) to refine what shows up:
General - toggle entire result sections on or off (Tracks, Campsites, Waypoints, Places)
Track filter - show only Easy, Medium, or Hard tracks
Campsite filter - limit to dog-friendly or free-only campsites
You can search for a specific location by entering coordinates. Supported formats:
- Decimal degrees:
-41.2865, 174.7762 - Degrees minutes seconds:
41°17'11.4"S, 174°46'34.3"E - Degrees and decimal minutes:
41 17.19, 174 46.57
When the app recognises a valid coordinate, a Go to location option appears at the top - tap it to jump straight to that spot on the map.
