Data layers

LayerNotes
Track linesDraws all track routes as lines on the map - handy for planning a route at a glance.
DOC LandHighlights land managed by the Department of Conservation. May take a few seconds to load.

Public access layers

Shows road parcels in an area, including paper roads - routes that exist on maps but aren’t necessarily formed on the ground. Useful for research, but do your homework before relying on them: some cross private land or difficult terrain.

These layers aren’t downloaded automatically because of their size, so you’ll need to download each region separately before heading offline.
