Tracks not appearing

Sometimes after an app update the tracks don't come back - or take way too long.

There are two ways to fix this

Force sync

Start by trying a force sync - this should solve the issue. In the app, tap the menu button at the top right and choose 'Settings' then hit the Force Sync button. The app should then restart.

If that doesn't work

The other way to sort this is to clear the app data, you will need to sign in again.

  1. Go to your main Android screen and open the 'Settings' app

  2. Tap the 'Apps' button

  3. Scroll down till you find Overland Navigator and tap it

  4. Scroll down to 'Storage' and tap it

  5. Tap the 'Clear data' button

This will reset all the data on your device and should clear the issue.

App not starting/crashes on startup

Make sure you're running the latest version of Overland Navigator - check the Play Store to confirm. Updates are published most weeks and support for older version get dropped after a few months.

If you're running the latest version and still having issues the next best step is to clear your data as something has gone a tad wrong.

To clear your data

  1. Go to your main Android screen and open the 'Settings' app

  2. Tap the 'Apps' button

  3. Scroll down till you find Overland Navigator and tap it

  4. Scroll down to 'Storage' and tap it

  5. Tap the 'Clear data' button

This will reset all the data on your device and should clear the issue.
